Hello everyone, its Ryan (elias has written his own part below) and I am busy as ever. You have probably heard about the new final “Project” that is currently being worked on. Well it is a project that is going to be taking a lot of time and effort from us within the next year. But before that, first things first. Have You Passed Through This Night is being planned to be released officially on October 27, for the Ebook and actual published version. For those of you who do not know, Have You Passed Through This Night is the epic tale of Bernard Gable, a man who escapes legal prosecution by fleeing his home town of Seattle, Washington for a small town in West Texas. A decade later, after personally vindicating himself of the crimes he believes he committed one night, Bernard Gable is threatened for his life by someone entitling themselves as “The Child of God.” As people begin dying around him, Gable is lead into a path of redemption and self rehabilitation. If one is interested in obtaining details or a copy of HYPTTN you will be able to buy an ebook version online and obtain a copy in stores, everywhere. Back to the “Project.” Yes it is true that we are working on a new project that is being planned to be accomplished within the next year. Though this is the main focus, we are planning to do short stories and poetry on the side as usual. We are not planning to release details about the project or what it is about, so you are going to have to wait until it is released, though I will tell you we are planning to have a special surprise for those of you who keep up on the website. : ) Oh, and we are having a special forum developed on the site for those of you who would like a community to post your work and talk about it with other people who share the same interest. More details on this will be posted on the site in the future. If you have any ideas or questions for anything at all, please feel free to ask and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Special thanks to Jack and Lucas at laeinccreations for all their hard work on the site.
Ryan

This time around I wanted to write something for me. Something that I was feeling, now. When I began working on HYPTTN, it was a conceptual project, based on plot, and obviously concept, and this bit… it’s a little bit of that but mostly emotion. I’ve always hated writing on emotion, I think it usually translates into very poor work, but in this case I feel we’ve done it appropriately. It’s a romance story, a horror story, a philosophical story, an adventure story, a theological story, a noir story, and a personal narrative all rolled into one. It’ll be quite a bit longer than our last work but mostly because of the amount of information we’re talking about writing. Have you passed through this night was a few paragraphs worth of plot that expanded into 25,000+ more words and we just didn’t have that 2 paragraph basis, we had pages and pages this time. It’s about an addict who discovers live, almost admin to the case present in HYPTTN.
It’s very difficult to talk about our next project as our last one has not yet been released to the public, and that’s have you passed through this night?. HYPTTN is, well, what it is. I am very proud of what we did, how we worked for it, and the product we created. I am not asking you to shy away from your feelings among the comments on the blog but please be conscious of what some people have or haven’t read. There are ways we would like it to be read.
Finally, the new project. It will be released sometime in 2009 and well, to say the least, it’s a spectacular story, in my opinion. It’ll make have you passed feel as if it was just a warm up
Until Next time, Elias
PS i've been listening to a lot of DCFC lately, esp. on the new work
"We wanted to create what someone feels right before they OD. And about the plot, it's kinda like the story of john rolfe but now, with drugs and not so much talk of a new world."
